For our client, located in Brussels we're currently looking for a communicative Senior Enterprise Data Architect.

Function Enterprise Data Architect

Responsibilities

  • Align business and technology realms to meet strategic targets.
  • Guide integration, quality enhancement, and data delivery within the data platform architecture.
  • Advocate for and drive adoption of the data platform and associated data product teams.
  • Design enterprise data architecture blueprints and refine Data Domain Maps.
  • Assist in prioritizing data management, governance, and quality-improvement initiatives.
  • Design Transversal Data Models.
  • Drive Proof of Concepts to evaluate suitable options for Enterprise Data Architecture.

Profile Enterprise Data Architect

Technical Skills

  • 6+ years as a cross-domain Enterprise Architect and designing Data Integrations across Cloud and on-premise systems.
  • 4+ years establishing best practices, methodologies, frameworks & policies and defining Business Domains and Data Models.
  • Experience with messaging systems and Event Driven Architecture.
  • Proficient in API and restful architecture.
  • Master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or Physics

Non-Technical Skills

  • Customer-oriented with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, adjust priorities, and thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Analytical problem solver with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Curious, creative, and willing to challenge norms constructively.
  • Team player with a product-oriented mindset.
  • Fluent in English AND Dutch, French, or German.

  • End: 28/02/2025, with potential extension.
  • Full-time position based in Brussels, occasional trips to Berlin.
