Bimona BVBA makes every effort to protect the privacy of the users/members of its database and is responsible for processing your personal details that were collected. By using these recruitment and selection agency services and making your CV accessible to us, you agree with processing your personal data, in accordance with the terms of this statement. Bimona is an organization that brings candidates and employers together. In order to do so, we have information from both candidates and employers at our disposal. Bimona guarantees careful and discrete handling of this information, taking into account the interests of all parties involved. Bimona takes utmost care to safeguard the privacy of visitors from this website and its database. This privacy statement describes what kind of information is collected by Bimona on our website and for what purpose.

Information collected by Bimona?

A. PERSONAL DATA
Bimona processes personal identification details as stated on a resume. By personal data we mean name, place of residence, telephone number, email address and career.

B. PUBLIC DATA
Public data and data we indirectly collect from our prospective customer. Bimona sometimes processes public data.

  • For example, this could be data that is subjected to a publication requirement, such as the publication of your appointment as director of a company, or data that you yourself have made public, such as information on your website...

Customers and Prospects of Bimona:

Depending on the case, your data will be used for the following purposes:

  • For contacts with clients or prospective clients at a first contact with Bimona: your details are essential for the correct execution of the agreement you conclude with us. As you conclude a contract with us, we need to be in possession of necessary personal data. This way we will be able to offer the services which are included in the contract.

This is mainly the sending of information in the context of:

  • Exchange: offering employees and/or self-employed persons for certain projects or vacancies.

The collected personal data are processed administratively and for accounting purposes. If you do not wish your personal data to be processed in this context, it is not possible to perform the services for which you are contractually bound to us.

  • Potential new contacts by handing over the business card: if you have given us a business card in one way or another, we will include you in our database. We assume here that by handing over the business card, you also give us your explicit permission to include you in our database.
  • In addition, we also store the publicly accessible data that we find about you in our database. We assume that we may also store this personal data since you have made it publicly accessible.

For suppliers:

The personal data necessary for the performance of the contract are collected. This mainly concerns e-mail addresses of contact persons in order to enable efficient communication.

Candidates - purpose of processing

  • On the Bimona website you can register by filling in the form and uploading your CV.
  • Bimona uses this information to put you, as a candidate, in contact with potential employers. Passing on information to third parties is of course never done without prior consent.
  • When you have specifically responded to a vacancy, we reserve the right to share your details with this specific client, unless you have specifically indicated that you would prefer to do so at a later stage.
  • If you register for the personal page through our website for the first time, you will immediately receive a written confirmation of the registration by e-mail. This confirmation will also include your personal login details. You are allowed to know what kind of personal information of you is available at Bimona. You can log in yourself or you can request by email access and, if necessary, indicate inaccuracies, suggest changes or request deletion of data.

Who receives my personal data?
Your personal data will not be passed on to other/third parties.

Bimona processes these personal data in accordance with the stated purposes. Only employees within our organization, who need your personal data in the performance of their duties, will be able to consult them.
When organizing events such as interviews with proposed candidates, we may pass on your personal data (such as surname and first name, as well as any job title) to the candidates attending the interviews for purely organizational reasons.
Your personal data can also be consulted by our IT and CRM software provider processors for the purpose of securing our data systems.

How long will my personal data be stored?

  • Your personal data will be stored as long as you agree that your data may be stored in our database.
  • Of course, we will keep your personal data in accordance with any statutory time limits and any statute of limitations that may apply. For invoicing documents, for example, this is 7 years.

Right of inspection?
If you would like to know what kind of personal data we process of you, you can invoke your right of inspection.
Bimona will give you a complete overview of the personal data that is kept about you. We can already confirm that no special categories of personal data are kept (such as race, ethnic origin, health data, data concerning sexual orientation,). We keep your personal CV up to date. You can obtain a copy of the personal data that are collected.

Improve data?
If there are changes in your personal data (such as name, address, e-mail address ...), you can always have this corrected or completed.

Delete data?
If you believe that Bimona processes certain personal data on an unlawful basis, i.e. without having a valid purpose, you can ask to have your personal data deleted. Or if you deem it no longer pertinent for your data to be kept in our database.

Vacancy mailing?
Based on the criteria of your registration, we will approach you with possibly suitable vacancies. If you don't appreciate this, please let us know. This way we know we shouldn't approach you anymore for this kind of purposes.

Security of your data?
We have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unlawful processing, such as the following:

  • Our employees have been informed about the importance of protecting personal data;
  • All persons who may access your data, on behalf of Bimona, are bound to secrecy;
  • We use a username and password on all our systems;
  • We make backups of the personal data in order to be able to recover them in the event of practical or technical incidents.

If we change this privacy statement, we will post its updates on this site for you to review.
