Senior Security Consultant

• You make sure security requirements are taken into account from the start of a project.
• You fill in the application security forms together with the product teams and review them.
• You assess changes against the security requirements and support the CISO in the GO/NO GO decision for releases.
• You question the security measures teams have put in place and challenge them where needed.
• You are the contact person for the NIST control evidence. You request evidence from subject matter experts, submit it to the central team and agree with them on when evidence is accepted.
• You report on the progress of the controls on a regular basis and raise issues with IT management.

• At least 5 years of relevant experience and knowledge of IT production or networks.
• Experience in software development and an understanding of the SDLC activities.
• Knowledge of the basics of network security.
• A good understanding of security frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001, and the basics of IT risk management.
• An ISO 27001 certificate or an equivalent certification.
• A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree, combined with experience.
• Fluent Dutch or French, and good English.
• You work independently, ask questions and listen to other people’s viewpoints. You keep the overall picture in view and share information with your colleagues.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the basics of application architecture (n-tier, client-server).
• Experience with security in projects.
• Experience in a banking environment.
